Flat, even light flatters no one. Dramatic light, used correctly, tells the truth better than a smile -and-shoot ever could.
I’ve been photographing people since two decades, long enough to know that flat, even light flatters no one and dramatic light, used correctly, tells the truth better than a smile-and-shoot ever could. My background isn’t the usual photographer’s path: alongside a photography degree, I hold MSc in International Business Management from London, and I run this studio the way that degree trained me to — as a business built on a defensible position, not just a portfolio.
I build dramatic, shadow-driven light around who someone actually is, founders, doctors, fitness professionals, corporate teams, jewellery houses, fashion labels. Instead of flattening them into a generic, safe, forgettable photograph.
Dramatic directional lighting, natural texture, contemporary South Asian identity

Photographer first. Educator second. I teach because it sharpens the craft and builds the next generation of people who take lighting seriously not because I’ve stopped shooting to become a full-time instructor.
